Ok, that's...odd

There's a swath of lightly bloodstained feathers from my smoking area, clear across the street into the neighbor's driveway. Maybe ten feet wide, by at leat twenty feet long. Now, I'm no expert, but either a seagull spontaneously went boom, or someone apported a feather pillow about fifteen feet above the pavement and then detonated it.

And no, no sign of a carcass or any body parts visible- just the feathers.
