Project Night Alert!!!
Nov. 4th, 2003 05:23 amSo, come november 14th we'll be opening our doors up for project night again. For those of you who haven't heard me talking about this concept before, here's what it means:
If you've got a project and want to work on it in the company of other people, or borrow some of the expertise of others who are here to help with a project, come on over. Same goes if you want to just drop by to socialize (though realize you may get dragged into helping with something.) About the only hard rules we establish are:
1- Portable, please. Sewing projects good. Painting projects ok. But don't expect us to be willing to allow you to use our apartment as a location for drying that 30 foot canvas you're working on. We'll store some smaller stuff for people who are working on stuff here specifically for a few weeks, but that's about it.
2- We've got a sign on our front door that says- "Unattended children will be sold as slaves." Take it to heart- we're not your babysitting service.
3- Finally- Help with food/drink is always appreciated, and not obligatory.
Anyways, if you like, show up! Need directions or got qiuestions? Well, you know what to do....
