Weekend in review-
Feb. 9th, 2004 06:37 amWith much goodness and pain to be had by all.
Friday- dragged my beleagured self home from work, had a drink or two and crashed unconscious. Not much to report.
Saturday- Spent the day with greenstage, as well as
plaidbrat and
animegothgrrl out at the brig, working our butts off on the set for "The Man who came to Dinner," Spent the better part of 6 hours hauling stuff over to the site. Phew. And if that wasn't enough abuse went out afterwards to rocky, in tow of
animegothgrrl and Rebecca (whose LJ username is to hard to try and spell this early in the morning).
Sunday? Day of rest, my ass. Well, actually it kinda was- got to spend most of my "morning" (if you call from 11-3 a morning) being a slug about the house until time for rehearsal. Gah. Rehearsal last night was a 6-hour study in frustration. Understandable for it being the first day of hell week, and us being in full costume, most of the props, and a near-completed, fucking beautiful set. Sigh.
And now? Work. Large piles of work. More with the gah. I'll be so glad when next monday hits, and I have both the day and night off from EVERYTHING.
Oh, wait. That's the day I'm supposed to start building stuff for con. Crap.
