Back & Burnt.
Jun. 7th, 2004 07:13 amBack from Kalifornia.
Overall, it was a pretty good weekend. Just too much overexposure to people, and the week is looking to be more of the same, considering I show up at work this morning (I'[m usually the first one here and get the place to myself for a good 15 minutes) only to find that most of the phone reps were already here for an early meeting. Feh. I need to get a little hermit hut somewhere. Or a mountaintop. With heavy artillery and large rocks to use on hikers and mountain-climbing tourists.
In other news, yesterday when we hit the Santa Cruz flea market, I managed to pick up my first sunburn of the year. And it's a doozy. Ow. Of course, if I want to be able to go outside at all this summer, I need to do this. It's the only way my skin develops any protective coloration from the sun, even if it is a nice lobster-red shade.
So, don't expect a lot of focus from me today- I'm a bit distracted by that lovely hot-coal feeling across my neck and shoulders....
