Mostly just bnecause I'm damned sick of the spare tire around my midsection.
Exactly what kind of diet? Well, it's basically the notAtkins. I cut a significant amount of carbs from my diet (which isn't hard- my diet was about 2/3rds pasta.) and increase my protein and fruit/veggie consumption. The scary part is, even with more meat in my diet, I'm getting less fat in at the same time (did I mention how much butter I'd use on the aforementioned pasta?). Combined with more exercise, when I can get it, I hope to see either results or me cancelling this whole concept in about a month. And by results, I mean "Any change other than more weight gain."
On another note, I finally got my ears on a copy of The Black Mages album. God damn, I wish I could've caught them when they did the concert tour.
