Oct. 29th, 2005 11:18 amWell, last night kicked much ass.
GOt to go out and play the new Arkham Horror boardgame, and well, if you've got $50 spare to blow on games anytime soon, this is definitely amust have- it's detailed to the nines with wonderful artwork, an intricate rule system that just fades into the background once you've got the hang of it, and the potential for games to go from as short as half an hour up to four or even six hours as plots twist and environments change. It's complex and simple at the same time. I want to have it's babies.
That said though, there was a price to be paid for all of last night's gaming insanity. Today, I feel like ass, as I'm at work on 2.5 hours or so of sleep. So not a good thing. And I'm thinking of doing a bi-weekly Deadlands group that would keep me out just as late?!
High price of getting out of the house, I suppose. That, or I'm just getting old.
