Bones?

Oh, one other thing. You've probably noticed me occasionally adding a "Bones?" at the end of long-ass posts sometimes. It's stupid, consiering I'm not even the right nationality for it, but it's a mini-meme grabbed from Steven Brust.

It comes from his book, The Sun, the Moon, & the Stars, as part of an old storytelling device. Basically, the storyteller asks "Bones?" at the end of a chapter, paragraph, whatever, to make sure the audience is still listening. (The correct audience response, by the way, would be "tiles.")

And that's that. Consider it your odd literary device du jour.

All day on no meds and most of it standing doesn't make my leg a happy camper. It's liveable, but still, the burbling feeling of fluid swelling my foot whenever I take off the pressure is a bit odd.

Pixelbitches. I've had this term stuck in my head all evening. I think I'm in love with it.

One other thing. Among more recent purchases before the whole "Nope, not gonna buy anything more!" resolution was a battered old copy of one of my favorite pieces of gaming nostalgia. Specifically, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness, by Palladium. God, this takes me back. One of the first few RPG's I ever played, and without a doubt, one of the more fun.

part of me really wants to start up a compaign. Or a one-shot or two. Or something.
