The reason your image file looks different when viewing it in Internet Explorer, Photoshop, and MS Picture viewer is because of gnomes.

No we do not have the transparency. Hence, why it is marked as "missing" in the index.

Of course our ten-thousand-dollar production scanner that handles 4 inch by 5 inch transparencies can be adjusted to do a high-resolution scan of an 8x10 picture of your dog-faced relative.  Just pass me that hacksaw.

No, we still do not have that transparency. Yes, we have physically checked all possible locations.

Due to the fact that our printer overheats and melts itself into slag whenever we print more than two catalogs at a time, we will be printing catalog orders on a "special" rotation. The first person to ask me when their order will be ready will be rotated to the bottom of the queue.

Oh, I was wrong. We do have that transparency. It's in our special processing program. I'll call you back in a couple of hours once I've finished digesting.
