( For the red-hot-burning palm of Picture Posts! )
This is where it might begin....
Sep. 30th, 2008 01:46 pmYep, of all places, talk radio, that wonderful hotbed of unswervingly loyal conservative support, has fucking lost it.
Wasn't there some fantasy series that went out of it's way to prove that evil always untlimately turned in on and destroyed itself? Well, with the level of politicking surrounding the bailout, the spin, the anti-spin, and all the rest of it, we've basically got the GOP tearing at it's own throat. You can't write comedy this good. The only thing this needs for the shit to really hit the fan, is for McCain to lose the election, and then go on public record as blaming the parts of the GOP that didn't support him/the bailout as the reason for his losses. Then we might really be looking at the potential for the GOP to finally split. Of course, then we'd have the Democrats and not one, but TWO parties of batshit conservative whackadoodles. I'm not sure that's an improvement.
