I have just cooked and consumed an entire half-pound hamburger with sharp cheddar cheese and four pieces of peppered bacon on it.

For those not familiar- I've got gout. Eating this is pretty much the kiss of, well, not death, but mind-numbing pain as my body fails to process the uric acid.

That said, I do not care. It's been that kind of day today. My mouth is in heaven, and my stomach is nicely pleased. This will suffice for now at least.
