Meanwhile, Madagascar has not yet shut down. Therefore our present epidemic does not cause me much concern.
Though looking at the numbers of confirmed cases in the greater Seattle area (Zero. Still.) I begin to see a pattern to some of the school closures and such- is it possible that our wonderful school system could be using probable cases as a good basis to close up schools and save on operating costs in general? I mean the widespread panic and paranoia already has everyone worked up- why not capitalize on it in such a manner that gives schools a needed break from the economic hardships of staying open?
