Jan. 28th, 2010 10:25 amGame night tonight, folks! Come join us here for another exciting night of fantastic action and adventure in the Warhammer Fantasy universe...
Which reminds me,
templar46_2 asked for a play report on the game itself, so for those wondering, ( here's some brief stuff.... )
That said, tonight our intrepid adventurers- a noble mercenary, shrewd agitator, and roguish apprentice wizard, continue their brave adventures, this time, returning an important message back to the inn from which we started, and then who knows? Excitement and danger dwell in every nook and cranny of this world, so we may be up against anything. And you all should come join us.

Contest time!
Jan. 28th, 2010 03:34 pmAs some of you may know, I've been working on this little card deck project for a bit now...
And well, the preorders alone have done well enough that the deck is going to be professionally printed. Which is really bloody amazing, if you ask me, and to celebrate, we're going to give away some cards.
That's right, a contest- where I give away six copies of the Windrow-Ravenswood Deck for free. You want the deck but can't afford it, or can't buy it online? This is your chance to get a copy free and clear.
All right, now, there's three different methods to win during the contest. You can enter in all three if you like, though winning in one category disqualifies you from the others. That said, here's the three ways to win:
Method 1: The Twitter End: Follow me on twitter and retweet the following anytime between now and midnight PST on February 5th:
"RT @Winneganfake- It's the card deck giveaway! RT and follow me to win your copy of the Windrow-Ravenswood Deck! #WRDgiveaway" (Make sure to keep in the hashtag at the end for tracking purposes.)
From all entrants here, TWO people will be selected at random to each receive a free copy of the deck.
Rules: You can enter the Twitter End once per day. You can enter more times daily if you really like, but once is all we're counting. You still need to be following @Winneganfake at the end of the contest in order to win.
Method 2: They breed like rabbits, don't they? This one's simple, easy and involves as little effort as Method #1. Simply pre-order a deck between now and midnight PST on February 5th, and you're entered in for a chance to win an extra deck with your order- works great if you need a backup deck, or one to use as a gift.
From all entrants here, TWO people will be selected at random to each receive a free copy of the deck.
Rules: Only retail orders of the deck are entered in the contest, not wholesale purchases. enter as often as you like. If you are using paypal's e-check service to pay for your order, your contest entry will be revoked should your payment not clear.
Method 3: The Grand Challenge: All right folks, this is the Main Event and the more difficult method. Now, you may or may not have noticed it already, but there's a message hidden on the "Crest of the Cards" pieces, which are the backside of every single card in the deck. Now, your challenge is to answer all of the three following questions:
What is the hidden message?
Who do the initials in the message refer to?
What book is this phrase taken (and paraphrased) from? (HINT: Your other clue to the book is in the title of the deck itself)
Email all three of these answers to dmitri (at) tormentedartifacts.com any time between now and Midnight PST on February 5th, and you'll be entered for the random drawing to win one copy of the deck, as well as two 4"x6" signed prints from the deck (your choice of which cards you'd like as prints). Again, TWO winners will be chosen and awarded.
Rules: One entry per person. No cheating, wanking, or other buggery with your answers- incorrect or incomplete answers will not earn you an entry. Do your own homework- any comments in any of the blog or newsposts containing answers or theorizing about them will be deleted. There will be no confirmation of the answers until after the contest has closed.
