Specifically, I need suggestions for species, bone type, and, most importantly, where the hell I can get them from. What am I after? Roughly twenty bones in total- we're looking for parts enough to simulate a human hand. That means the biggest individual bones need to be about three inches long, and then smaller bones (about an inch long) for the individual finger-bones. As they'll be getting drilled and modded and partially replaced, we need to avoid avain bones, just for better structural integrity. And pre-cleaned would be a huge bonus, just to avoid the time expense, not to mention the whole "playing with stuff the kids shouldn't get near" issue. So, anyone got any good suggestions? Or for the bone-crafters reading this, anyone got some spare bones they want to unload on the cheap/for trade?
