The Revolution Will be Mechanized

 For those who've been wanting to help throw a spanner in the works. 

I've been following the Occupy movement from the moment it started, and during that whole time, I've been wanting to help. My own responsibilities as a dad and other issues prevent me from having the ability to do things like directly join the protests, so I've been supporting where I can- most often by forwarding on information on breaking news with the different Occupation protests. It's about time I did something more direct, though. 

Hence this- it's a bit silly, a bit steampunky, and the motto, well, on the surface, not a lot to do with OWS. That said, this is probably one of the most technologically-dependent protests on record- if it weren't for technology like mobile phones, twitter, etc, WOS would've likely died from lack of coverage before it even got started. So yes, the revolution has been mechanized, in at least one sense. 

      

So, to get to the final point- this piece exists to support OWS, and as such, a 20 percent chunk of the price of this piece is going to be donated directly to the OWS fund. That's right- 20% of any sale of any of the shirt, hoodie, phone case, or any other versions of this got to Occupy Wall Street. It's what I can do to help out.
