 I am fully convinced that "auld lang syne" is actually a hrase in a demonic summoning of apocalyptic proportion. The only thing that has kept us from doom and annihilation thus far is the fact that nobody has right achieved the exact right combination of pitch, cadence, and pronunciation required to trigger it yet.  All it needs, is to be said properly, and then the world will be pulled inwards in a nightmarish cyclone of cold insane brutality.
