(For the record, the wife and I were discussing this article here, and a bit on it's ramifications.)

Her: "I don’t know which way to go on this one…"

Me: "I don't think I've really got an opinion, aside from the fact that a sports team shouldn't have any right to dictate about who their neighbors are, unless they own the property."

Her: "
I agree with that opinion… but then, the parent card comes out. Sigh…"

Me:
"Mine almost did.
Then I had a realization- I'd be saying I was fine with loud, obscenity-shouting, boob-flashing, beer-guzzling idiot baseball fans, but not fine with strippers and their customers? Wait- there's a difference between the two?"

Me again: "Added note: spellcheck keeps trying to turn SoDo into Sodom. That says something right there."

I say bah to "think of the children". Seriously, if the kids isn't old enough to be at the ballpark alone, then adults will be with them, and the adults can choose not to go past it if they're that worried that seeing a couple of signs that only indicate what goes on inside to adults. "Adult Entertainment" doesn't communicate anything to an 8yo, except that he's probably not interested. And if it does tell him that it's a strip club, then he already knows what that is, and seeing the outside of one more isn't going to do any "damage" that hasn't already been done. What exactly are people afraid will happen here.
