Nuh-uh. Besides, the gods wouldn't have given us fun things like dynamite, super-strong acids, fire and hatred unless we were supposed to use them on the blackberries, right?
Seriously- I'm not into removing the things- they make a decent defensive hedge at the top line of the yar that'll keep Brenna in and prying neighbors out. I do intend to keep those seriously trimmed back though, and I need some good ground cover for that hillside and the area under our rather large (and possibly dying) pine tree. The tree should be salvageable, so it just needs to be something that'll tolerate a lot of shade.
