winneganfakeOk, folks. This is the official "help wanted" post for norwescon.
First off, these positions are unpaid, and you need to already have a Norwescon badge- I can't reserve any further badges at this point.
That said, I'm more than up for reimbursing people with booth credit, if there's stuff you want to grab.
Now then. First and foremost- I'm making this post public so I can hotlink it over to FB and such. You've got a better chance of me saying yes to you helping out if a) I actually know you, or b) you've worked for me previously.
Ok, enough disclaimers and me trying to scare off people. Here's the actual jobs:
Job #1- Fashion Show Helper
Just what the title says- I need one, possibly two people for helping out with the show- it's going to be part gopher, part helping the models with quickchanges, part keeping things organized, and part smacking me upside the head with the fact that I need to calm down relax and go smoke a cigarette before I go insane.
Job starts friday night of the convention around 6pm and goes until 1030ish the same evening. That's it. Short and sweet but also a bit stressful at the same time.
Job #2- Boothmonkey
Yes, someone who can help with covering the booth on saturday and sunday. That means dealing with people without scaring them off, making sales, handling money and credit card transactions. I'll be there for some, and you'll be on your own for some times while I grab a break or two. You won't be working the full day. Compensation depends on how much time you're there for.
