Me.

Nervous? Yep.
Somewhat excited? Yeah, definitely.
Uncertain? There's some of that involved.
Scared as hell? Yep. You betcha.

In short, today I gave notice at work. In two weeks, [livejournal.com profile] plaidbrat goes back to work full time, and I stay home with Brenna on a permanent basis. It's decided. The general goal is to do my damndest to be a working artist and a parent simultaneously. Will I regret it? Maybe sometimes yes. Will I get frustrated? More than likely. Will I want to cry and scream sometimes? Probably.

Will this also be one of the biggest and most exciting challenges/changes I've ever taken on in my life?

Most. Definitely.

WIll this be one of the biggest challenges

That is a huge decision -- good for you! I look forward to hearing about your experiences (and completely sympathize about childcare costs).

Good luck!
While i can't relate on the parenting front, i can definitely say that yes, frustration will hit you like a barrage of shit filled socks. And then you'll realise that you're doing what you really enjoy and it isn't so bad.

Good luck! That's quite a step, but I think in the end you'll find it well worth the trying moments.

Ing, yes. Present tense. As in still going on. And on, and on, and on...

You better be in this marriage for the long haul. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
