winneganfakeThose of you waiting for my usual "I geek for Sony" speeches that occur around E3, well, here ya go.
The PS3 looks damn hot. I'm a bit concerned about the fact that they don't mention whether or not the hard drive will be shipped with the console, but honestly, I don't care, so long as it still runs good games without it.
Supports up to 7 wireless controllers.
Fully backwards compatible- everything back to PS1 will work on it.
Shiny metal housing. I repeat- SHINY.
Doesn't look like a computer.
Ok, I've wet myself. Drooling ceases for now.
And if anyone can't already guess what I want for my birthday in '06, well, you need help.

Date: 2005-05-17 11:12 pm (UTC)This site shows a component by component comparison of the Xbox 360 and the PS3...its kind of interesting. For the most part, they are VERY comparable. I think the only thing that PS3 has going for it that XBOX 360 does not, is the bluetooth wireless capability. Which I can live without.
