So, thanks to seanb, we now have a large, lovely new computer, flatscreen monitor, and other stuff sitting on my worktables. Now I just need to get everything ready to move over to the new system- speaking of, anyone know a decent way to export an Outlook Express address book and still have it be importable afterwards? Same for IE bookmarks? (And no, this is not the time to tell me I should switch up to Firefox.) Once I figure those out, it'll just be down to the simple stuff- burning shitloads of info to disk, wiping this drive, and then plugging it into the new system for some extra hard drive space. Ergh.

Okay... ignorant question here... I'm in the OE folder, but I can't identify the mail files... help!

In the OE folder there should be a file called inbox, one called sent, deleted items, etc, etc (whatever your other folder names are).

If you do not see those, you are not in the correct folder ;)

Ok, what's the filepath then, because the only OE folder I can find (in program files) doesn't have these files.

XP Home edition, service pack 2. Set for multiple user profiles.

Yeah - thats why I was wondering what OS - cause it is different.

Look here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Justin.TAMARIZ\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{F4921B3A-ED57-432E-B21C-A8EBD49979DE}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

obviously replace the appropriate profile name with whichever one is using OE...and the folder AFTER identity may be different - but its not like there will be many there.
