First and foremost today, I need to wish a rather happy birthday to my wife, plaidbrat! The woman who drives me nuts, constantly challenges me, and often has me climbing up the walls. It's probably going to be lost in the morass of 4th of July weekend postings, but I just ran across this interesting little gem: Spoonflower.com- a print-on-demand company that specializes in taking your design and printing it onto fabric. No, not t-shirt printing or suchlike, but onto literal bolts or swatches of fabric. May be cool for designers who want to run that direction, or for sewers who want some more interesting fabric to deal with.
