And that end bit? Yes, that's the sad part. These are people knowledgeable in their sport, their technique, and their equipment, performing a stunt that is, for all intents and purposes, safer than driving a car. If anything, the Burj/local authorities should be simply charging pro/semi-pro (hell, is there an equivalent term for experience here?) basejumpers a fee for using the building as a jump-off point during the construction, instead of wasting the money on trying and incarcerating them.
