I'm beginning to contemplate holding a pre-con sale of stuff. Not that I really have the inventory for it at this point, but it'd at least help with those who need costuming gear still, not to mention getting some extra dosh in my wallet for a run for con food.

Date: 2006-04-07 12:21 am (UTC)~uses the secret phrase~ James sent me.
~grins~ James said you were the man with the plan, or with masks, I can't remember. Either way, I hope it is okay I added you to my friends list.
Hubby and I are fixin' to see if we can go up to Oregon for a masque. If we can, we will be needing masks.

Date: 2006-04-08 12:19 am (UTC)Okay, so here is the deal.

We are tryin' to make it. June 10th, I believe.
Here is how we roll, I have three masks I am trying to decide which one first, and Robert is still methodically picking over what he may want. That is us in a nutshell.
The three I really would like are:
a geisha mask with a red diamond "tear" on it
a "deconstructed" Italian carnivale mask
a mask of a pheonix. Less feathers. More flame.
I will need all three eventually, just not sure which one first.
Will let you know if Robert ever stops pondering and starts deciding ;)

Date: 2006-04-08 05:24 am (UTC)Ok. The geisha, I'd need specific art references, since there's differences in the geisha "patterns" that people think are sticking points. I'd want to be sure of the design first, in other words.
The deconstructed Italian's a definite possibility, but how deconstructed are we talking?
And the phoenix is definitely doable. Tell you waht- shoot me an email to my business address (tormentedartifacts @ lostware.com), and we'll take up this discussion from there.
By the way, you've seen the website, right?
