winneganfakeWow. Ended up sleeping for damn near eight whole hours last night. I think my body's in shock from that.
Anyways, I now have three new gasmasks to play with: a pair of israelis, and a Draeger. Gotta love Ebay. The can project is still tabled at the moment, as I don't have the spare finance to go knob-shopping right now. Otherwise, there's seven new masks sitting on the worktable in various stages of completion. Yep, time for full-on production overload!
On the day job front, work is a bitch. Thanks to all the illness, both mine and Brenna's, and missing two days while dealing with my Grandfather's death, I have been placed on suspension. No work and no pay from Feb 7-13th. Bitchcakes. Needless to say, this wonderful kind of policy, plus the fact that my *amazing* raise has yet to appear on my paychecks, is spurring me on even further to go forth and jobhunt.
Other than that, things ain't half bad- the new website seems to be getting good feedback so far, though no new orders yet. Just wishing I had the spare dosh to pay for some advertising at this point. Speaking of though, if you like my stuff, (or hell, if you just plain like me, and want me to shut up about it), why not pop up a link on your own journal? If you want linkage repaid in kind, just let me know.
