Ok, people. I'm sure someone out there has more experience than me at working this stuff. so....

Creations made from strip plaster. Anyone know of a good way to detail/de-seam/smooth them after they've set, or am I just going to have to risk adding one more thin layer and ending up with hopefully only one major seam?

Not knowing anything about strip plaster - my first instict would be to add one more thin layer, and then a slight wet sanding after it had dried.

Additional thought - rather than using regular sandpaper for the sanding, you will probably want to pick up some "wiremesh" sanding screens that are used for drywall. I would suggest medium to fine, rather than coarse. :)

The mes does not "gum" up as much as normal snadpaper, and works better for plaster, drywall, or similar materials.
