So, this weekend only had one drawback to it- due to a partial gout flare up and bad footwear choice on Friday, my right foot's been in agony for the last three days. Starting to come out of it now, but it's pretty much led to one realization, especially after going through the entire closet to find something comfortable enough to wear on that foot all day.

I have only two pairs of sneakers that fit, and that are comfortable enough to be in all day, and neither pair is in perfect condition. I have no other footwear. None of my boots fit any longer, except for one pair that's absolute murder on my foot.  In fact, there's now a garbage bag in the hall full of perfectly ok boots and shoes that I simply cannot wear due to issues of grinding pain.

I'll post a pic or two tonight, but in the meantime, anyone got a use for some men's footwear, sizes 7.5-9?

I'm a 10 1/2, so not me.

Speaking of agony, my arthritis flared up so badly this morning that I couldn't get out of bed for ten minutes. Pain for the win!

I'd take you up on it, but the ones in the best condition are pretty much the wrong size entirely for my feet these days. It'd probably take rebuilding them from scratch, which is more time and effort than it's worth.
