this despite the fact that there are 1,577,679 people in the US with my first name, according to their database. oddly, though, my whole paternal family seems not to exist, as the last name comes up 0.
Apparently there are 610 people with my first and last name. 823 827 with my first, and 224 956 with my last. I would feel common, but in my home town there I was one of three people in my electorate with the same three names, so I think the US is a bit slack in terms of naming people after me.

According to this site no one actually has the last name Christgau. I guess there are so few of us we don't show up on the census report they use.
