Note to self: Next time I try to take apart a clock movement, find a book or info on the subject first, so as to avoid having the spring unwind fast enough to fling parts clear down the hallway.

Also- find a good use for clock springs that are 6-foot-plus in length.

Also: What's the English translation for "Tempus Frangit"? I've had that stuck in my head since yesterday. (The fact that my subconscious is making puns at me in Latin should, most likely, be taken as a serious sign that something's wrong with me.)

The irony, it slays me.

God. My subconscious is now making latin puns at me.

Someone please hit me over the head with an oversized copy of the Catechism and end this already!!!!

That's a time-travel short story title if ever I heard one. Congratulations to your subconscious!

Actually this pun appears in Delirium's realm during the Sandman comic series, if you've read that (I'm guessing so), your subconscious may be dragging up other people's Latin puns rather than inventing new ones for you, if that makes you feel better.

Technically, Time Broke, I believe. Perfect tense.

Ok, so which one would be the proper use for "Time Broke," then?

Frak.

Fregit just has the wrong sound to it.

Does Frangit mean anything at all, then?

Oh, god. Oh. GOD.

Ok, see the above reply, too. I'm still too zombified to properly copy/paste it.

Is the hand you're about to grow in place of the one that got severed a FIGHTIN' HAND? ;)

If, by FIGHTIN' HAND, you mean half of a set of chainsaw nunchaku, then yes.
