Since I can't drink at the moment, I am unfortunately stone cold sober. I wish I could have been drinking, especially while listening to the disgrace to her gender who called into NPR afterwards to extol Palin's praises.
I did. I don't think she landed a lot of solid hits overall, but probably did manage to convince the 25% of the country who still thinks Bush is doing a good job that she is suitable to lead the country after all (even they were starting to doubt in the wake of her interview performances). I expect they won't let her out of the Cone of Silence without extensive notes (and probably a teleprompter and a sniper to take out anyone who looks like they are going to ask a question) for the rest of the campaign.
