OK, that did it. The laptop has been restored in full. Fear the Beast, for now it truly lives.


Of course, my bookmark collection, downloaded programs, and everything else went the way of the dodo in the process. Your links. I needs them. Give me your webcomics, your cool sites for research, art, and awesomeness, your freeware applications yearning to be free.... or something like that.

Can I recommend Delicious? It's a good place for online storage of your bookmarks. I use it so I can access them from work and from home, and if a system dies, I still have access to them.
