Unable to avoid the hammer.

So I'm cutting grommet holes into a bunch of stuff last night (a process involving placing a sharpened, hollow metal cylinder over where I want the hole and whacking it with a hammer) And managed to somehow get my left thumb directly between hammer and cylinder. OW. OWOWOWOWOW. Nothing broken, just a massive blood blister that'll help make typing fun!
That and my lovely bus driver decided to be nice to all the cold, drenched people getting on the bus this morning. By turning on the air conditioning. I have a definite feeling that nothing positive will be coming out of my day today. Ah well.

Date: 2004-03-24 02:32 pm (UTC)Did you get (was it even suggested that you get) the self-healing cutting mat? Just this past weekend, we had a fellow who had wrecked the cutter from one of those Handi-Grommet kits on the wooden block they give you with it. Stupid kits.
Or did you have your own cutter?
