Back form Norwescon. Here's the updates of (non)importance.
Tormented Artifacts merchandise sold well enough to justify doing my own (larger) table next year. Woot!
CStudios still definitely knows how to throw a good party.
70171 got played on Thursday night! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be there when it was playing, but evidently people danced!
The kittens missed us, and were rather cuddly/playful last night.
Beyond that, I'm mentally, physically, and emotionally dead as hell right now. If you've got something important in your LJ's that you need me to read, point it out to me, I don't have the time today to do that much backtracking to find it otherwise.

Date: 2004-04-12 08:33 pm (UTC)I picked up one of your masks this year, and I've been having a blast with it. People have been asking me who did the modification, and I've been handing out your company name.
I wanted to know if it was okay to give out your contact info, is it?
I also wanted to let you know that there is a lot of interest in the masks. I know I'd pick up more in the future, especially if you made some with rubber manes.
One last thing, what would you suggest for repair? I KNOW I'm going to do something to make these horns pull loose at one point or another. What glue should I use to reattach them if I get too rambunctious with them?
Thanks!

Date: 2004-04-13 06:58 am (UTC)Rubber manes. Heh- frighteningly enough that's one of the pieces I'm already working on.
Repair. Right. The horns are actually anchored in by screws- the adhesive was there more to keep them even with the mask surface and to provide a bit of extra support. They're currently attached with Barge Cement (which i don't recommend for repair work- it'll eat the paint). If the glue goes, I'd actually recommend using a clear caulk or epoxy, something that still has some flexibility to it when dried.
Thanks again for picking up a mask!

Date: 2004-04-13 09:36 am (UTC)Feel free to nab any of those pics for promotional use. They really aren't that great though, because I was in a hurry to brag about the mask. I can take some pics in better light, both on and off my face if you like. I'll let you know when I post them to my journal so that you can snag them.
I'm blushing just a little about the fact that you looked at my journal. hah.
Well, at least you know that the mask has an appreciative owner...eh? haha
