Well, that's it folks, another year about to go up in smoke. Let's just combine some memes and see...

Ten years ago, I was living in what amount to a giant party house gone wrong, getting high on a regular basis, not working out that each bout of serious lung illness I had coincided with it fairly well, working, painting the occasional leather jacket for money, and otherwise being a shallow little 22 year-old jerkoff. I'm really glad things have changed since then.

What have I learned in the last year? That I still have more to learn as an artist and an artisan.
That my body's limits might be reachable, but I can still push them. And still fall over horribly when I do so.
No problem is unsolvable with the sufficient application of determined willpower and a hell of a lot of epoxy.
I still need to work on my (lack of) communication skills.

Goals for next year? No resolutions- they're made to be broken, so why try them? Instead, new projects-

I'm thinking of trying my hand at some kind of 365-style project. It'll have to be digital work, just so I can keep up with daily uploads. But the project I'm looking at isn't 365 pieces long. I'm more looking at the idea of doing cards in one form or another. Either a basic playing card deck, or more of a full-fledged tarot deck. Anyone interested? Comment and let me know.

Go for it - a year-long series of digital images would be amazing.

I'm still puttering along with mine, although taking a semi-break with the holidays. It's been rough a couple of times, when I just sit there and stare at the box of doom and get nothing, but keeping the momentum going really has been good for my mental state. I feel like I'm accomplishing something every day/week/month towards what's important to me, the part of me that wants out of the daily grind.

You could do 5 radically different tarot decks. That would work out to 350-something, giving you built-in cushion days if you miss a day.
