Bastard's Notebook

So, first off, happy Father's Day to all the other dads out there reading this.

Me? I got treated like a king. Allowed to sleep in until 8am, plied with fresh, delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls, given a nice handpainted card (I'm alternating between framing it or bronzing it), And I got to enjoy a good day playing around with my own family. We even got to hit the Half Price Book's dirt cheap sale that happened only a couple of blocks away.

I also ended up with loot! Donnie Darko, the director's cut, which is a definitely improved version of the original.

So, Brenna, plaidbrat, thanks for a great Dad's day.

Tired now. also very sore, as I'm recovering from a nice dark sunburn earned at the Solstice Festival yesterday. Must get writing work done. (more on that later this week.)
