Bastard's Notebook

Ok, so last night I was all primed up to catch the Obama primetime special. 8pm hits, the wife goes to bed, and there I am surfing the channels trying to find it. And utterly failing.


Now look, admittedly, I should've checked a TV schedule, but if you're going to buy the damn 8pm time slot, doesn't it make more sense to purchase the entire damn block at 8pm across the board and show later time-zones the pre-recorded version, so us left-coasters can actually see you at the advertised 8pm showtime, instead of missing the entire damn thing while commuting home at five pm?

Obama, your marketing/promotion division gets my middle finger raised in salute for that one.
