The state of the D (upgraded)

Ok, to keep folks posted on things, I did manage to get in to see the doctor yesterday- who pretty much instantly confirmed mine and Steph's thoughts- definitely pinkeye.
However, he was pretty positive it was non-viral, non-contagious, allergy-related pinkeye, so we started treating it as such, and boy howdy has it worked.
I'm now armed with an inhaler that should be rated as a low-grade tactical sinus weapon, given it's effects- I've forgotten just how... hardcore some perscription allergy meds can get- this one? You use it, and you immediately know you've been medicated. It's a full on moment from Animal House or Fear and Loathing. I wouldn't call it a necessarily great feeling, but you know what? I'm definitely happy with the results.
Namely, the red's massively reduced between the inhaler and special eyedrops. Cough is lessening up as well, though my entire torso is incredibly sore from all the coughing I've been doing. My eyeballs no longer fully scream and ache at me either- there's residual soreness, dryness and stiffness, but they're back towards being semi-functional at least.
Healing is in progress, and I'm not contagious, which of course, means I'm going to be an idiot and try to do the Abney Park show tomorrow night- anyone want to come get into the show for free tomorrow? Because I could definitely use the help with loading in & out, if my body persists in being this sore.
