Ok, no laptop. Finally ound reviews of ECS laptops online, and well, they're not pretty. As for any other system, by the time I get the stuff it has to have on it, it's out of my budget. Fuck. Besides, even if I had the thing, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'd never get the chance to use it.

Fuck, just plain fuck.

And for those wondering just how I'm doing from the tone of this post? Here's your answer- not well. Not fucking well at all.

We are selling our older HP laptops in the company store.
PII/III with 128-256 mb of ram and 10-20gb hard disk.

Would you be interested in an older (Circa 2001), but vastly cheaper, HP laptop? I think they are like $150.

Thanks, but no- unless it's running close to 1 Ghz for processor speed, it won't run Acid in real-time playback for shit.
