I've discovered something that truly pisses me off on a personal level.

I'm posting it as a general warning, and a combined vent at the same time.


Do not treat me like I do not have a day job. Do not even suggest that I don't.

This is my day job:



It's rewarding, I love it, but it's one hell of a commitment (no benefits, no financial recompense, no vacations, and I'm not allowed to quit.) and it generally is hard to do some of the things I would've done if I were here sans day job.

This is my work on a bad day:



Which happens quite regularly right now as the office manager is currently teething. Which means that sometimes it's hard to get out the door to grab breakfast even, because the office manager is crying, fussing, and thrashing about so much it's hard to get her into her car seat.


Cute babypics aside, do not fucking treat me as if I am unemployed, without a life, or otherwise able to do anything a non-employed person would do.

I have a fucking job. And it takes more energy, determination, and sheer bollocks than some of you will ever posess.

You do an amazing job. I am working part time and taking care of my neice. She is the most important, which is why I am with her as much as possible. I am amazed at how much you do with your art, taking care of the sweet hart and so much more. I hope to be more like you someday. ::grin::
