My goals for last night:

Finish sealing the dresser for the baby's room.
Clean kitchen
Finish latest revision of VISIONS.


My actual last night:

Run to grocery store on scooter to pick up rice pudding for plaidbrat and give the scooter some much needed driving.

10 minutes later, cuss a blue streak at the scooter that refused to start (or even act like it had a working electrical system). Pull out one rusted to fuck sparkplug for cleaning. Get picked up by plaidbrat. Get back home.

Once home, find out I need to drive animegothgrrl to the airport so she can head off to ComiCon for the weekend. Deal with fuckheaded idiots on the drive back, but well , I got to sing at the top of my lungs to Chumbawumba and Toad the Wet Sprocket. Things I don't get to do much anymore.

Got home. Walked to Larry's with a now-cleaned sparkplug. The scooter mercifully started up fine, and I got it back home- going to need to grab oil and a fresh plug before much more driving happens on it though.

Got home. Again. Put plaidbrat to bed. Burned off frustration on Silent Hill 3 for half an hour. Did minor VISIONS updates. Crashed hard.


So, none of my list done, and the dev team meets tonight to go over the latest VISIONS draft and do our first in-house playtest. Gah. Fucking Gah. And of course, where am I? At the job I hate. Let me re-iterate: HAAAAATEEE! Ugh.
