Thanks to zero sleep whatsoever last night (yay for a fresh batch of allergy meds though!) and the girlie being a complete and utter whirling dervish today, I am officially beaten. As in "with a very large club." I think I'll be sleeping until Monday now. Wake me up if the flooding moves seriously inland and northwards. (Currently I define "serious" as it having devoured everything between NOLA and Portland, OK?)

I've gone to bed around 9 and managed to "sleep in" past 6 for the last two mornings. Is this what is feels like to actually be rested?

I don't think I even know the meaning of being rested any longer. Less tired yes, but not rested.
