Just did the route plotting for driving the scooter down to Norwescon.

20.4 miles, 46 minutes. And none of this will be easy driving.

Anyone know what the speed limit is on Pacific Highway S?

"50" is the speed limit on most of it until you get way south of downtown, but if you try to go that slowly you'll get killed.

Ok, where's airline highway? I've only got mapquest availble for use, no physical maps. so here's the full route at this point.

From downtown:
Get on 4th south.
left on S Industrial Way
R on Airport Way S
Merge onto Boeing Access Rd.
L onto Pacific Hwy S.

It runs parallel to and between I-5 and 99. I can't be more specific than that, as I've only been on it with other people driving. Getting off at Boeing field and hopping onto S-99 from there, the speed limit is only 40 and there's a shoulder and places for you to pull off if need be.

Stu. and I are headed to the Con thusrday after we get off work. If you want to brave riding the scooter to our house (west seattle) we would be happy to give you a ride to the con. We will be coming home sometime Sunday, just not sure what time yet.

Yes, but I'm not staying at the con most nights- the original plan was to be able to use the scooter to commute, so Steph and Brenna would have the car available. As such, I don't have a room for thursday, and besides, I'd really rather go sleep in my bed most of those nights. So thanks for the offer, but I think I'm just going to be bussing it, unless I do find a better alternate route.
