Ok, I ask this one every now and again, but it's been a while since the last time, at least.

What are your top five (or ten, or one) freeware programs that you currently have installed?

Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox), of course. And to go with it are immortal duo of NoScript (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722) and Adblock (http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/10), and Greasemonkey (http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/748).

PuTTY (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) is my terminal of choice.

The Labrat Toolkit (http://robertmelton.com/?page_id=3) for beating Windows into shape.

I use the GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) for graphics work, but it's not really appropriate for anything pro-level.

IE 7 (http://dean.edwards.name/IE7/) (not what you think) installed on the server side makes IE standards-compliant. Relatively speaking.

And just for fun, It's Full of Stars (http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/7472/ifosweb/index.htm).

Uh...

Well I used to work at Download.com so *technically* nothing I have is freeware. All have paid versions available or nag screens. I have no clue how strict you are with your definition so I'll just presume a more liberal definition for the sake of argument.

Dungeon Runners (Thought honestly, when I play I do pay)
AVG Free virus, it seems to do fine.
Trillian
TextPad (I couldn't code without this thing)
HijackThis! (<-- actual freeware)
Spybot
AdAware
Winamp
iTunes

That's all I can think of just now.

Tikiwiki
PDF 995 (Nagware)

Trillain (AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger)
Winamp
FireFox
Skype

I think that is pretty much it. I may have an FTP program on here somewheres, but not sure where.
