honestly i stumbled on you're book of lost hours in another community from some random search, it's pretty original. reminds me of my childhood oddly enough, mostly from the perspective of having a tome that was in some way significant from all the other shit i read. i must say the gas masks, i have a question about them, as i have not recently found anyone else that deals in restructuring them and feel kind of alone in the endeavor, maybe you can save me some time with it then. in the back of the masks a few of them have this sort of i guess hair look, covering the straps and such, how do you accomplish that?

And my apologies for taking so long to reply to you- it's been a bit of catching up work around here lately. Anyways, to answer your question, the dreadlocked gasmasks use neoprene sheet rubber, cut into individual strands and riveted on to the gasmask itself.
