Your rant seemed to have comments disabled. Did you know about TinEye?

Comments were disabled mostly so I could avoid potential drama off that thing.

As for TinEye, I'd honestly never heard of it, but so help me, it's now bookmarked for future use.

Since I happen to know this one, you can find more on that car here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/lancashire/8030766.stm). The young woman in the picture is the artist, and her name is Sara Watson.

It's quite simple for the original artist to stamp the original image with a URL for future identification purposes, such that every time it's reposted it retains some semblance of giving credit where it is most certainly due. After that, if some ganker erases the mark it is CLEARLY infringement (not to mention rude), and not just "sharing".

I don't however, think a ganker is owed "credit" when yet another ganker reposts an image the first doesn't own, especially if ganker #1 is less than diligent in giving props themselves.

"I saw it first" is best left for kindergardeners.
