Things I keep meaning to post:

I'm still in shock over the tinyness of this computer. How tiny is it?

That tiny. That's it on the left, with two peripherals kindly donated by [livejournal.com profile] fear_the_cow next to it- as you can see, the trackball's damn near the size of the computer itself. And the blingtastic little micromouse next to it? Oh yeah. That's so getting used for something.

And there's other pics from the camera dump as well, but those'll be a separate post for the piece done for Seattle Shakespeare Company's production of The Tempest. So, more in a bit.

We use the same trackball. I have been hoarding them because they have been discontinued for years. Why can't anyone make a decent trackball anymore?

No idea- as it is, I may give up the trackball, as it's almost too big for my hand. Still, it makes fine control on this much much easier.

If you don't want it, I do! If I use a regular mouse I can't move my fingers the next day my RSI is so bad. I'd gladly buy a good M$ trackball for $40.

Give me a week with this- right now, I need a trackball too badly for when I'm in photoshop, so I need to adjust to this one, or find out if I can't. If I can't, I'll let you know, and we can figure out getting it to you then.

Holy crap! That is a tiny machine. What brand/model is that? We're looking at getting something similar for the boy to take to school next year.

It's the Dell Inspiron Mini 10. Has enough processor power to run photoshop, dreamweaver, and all the other stuff I normally do without overheating and borking itself- just expect the boy to complain about the fact that he can't do games- I can get it to run emulation for original playstation stuff with no problem, but with a 1366x768 maximum screen resolution (and that's with the special HD widescreen option), stuff gets a bit weird for screen size.
