Ok, I admit it- I liked John C Wright's writing. Specifically on the "...of Chaos" trilogy. And enough to get the wife into reading them as well.
After reading an LJ post of his, however, I'm glad to have only checked those books out of the library, and I'm glad that we haven't spent a dime picking up any of his works new or used. This guy needs to be humbled. Hopefully infamy, followed by poverty will be a good way to start.

Date: 2009-08-15 02:05 am (UTC)Both of them though, while I love them for tone and thought, will, I think, have little to no effect on this kind of wingnut. I especially love that he's now deleted his original post and moved on to some rather backhanded attempts at apologizing.
