All right, I am, as of now, back from the hospital.
While there is no official definitive diagnosis, I am likely dealing with severe muscle issues of some kind.
Here's what happened- From roughly four pm onwards, the back pain I was complaining about earlier intensified a lot. Then at five, as I got up from the dinner table to put a dirty dish by the sink, something twinged in my back so hard that I could not move for fear of falling over. spasms began happening sometimes triggered by movement, sometimes not, at abotu one minute intervals- all of them intense enough that I either could not move, or was thrown into convulsive movement. At around 7, once
redheadbrat had arrived to stay here and watch the kidlets, and
domestinatrix had arrived to help
plaidbrat out with me, we managed to get me into the ER. This was after I'd been lying on the floor, screaming my head off with each subsequent spasm for the better part of an hour, as well, none of the measures we had here was doing a thing to slow or dull stuff.
Thankfully, aid was swift once we'd reached the ER. After checking in, drugs were started fairly quickly, and my back responded well enough that the spasms have for the most part stopped, and I'll be due to take my first course of take-home medication shortly to keep that going. In the meantime, I will be doing my best to keep up on the order fulfillment to get the final waves of decks and other orders shipped and such, but it is going to be slow going for right now. Hopefully this will nip things in the bud, provided I can get my back to recover swiftly.
